Il cuore verde di Torino, il parco del Valentino che ha un'estensione di 42,10 ettari, è il più famoso e antico parco pubblico della città.
È sicuramente il parco cittadino più conosciuto in una splendida posizione, non distante dal centro, a 1 km dalla stazione ferroviaria di Porta Nuova, è situato lungo la sponda sinistra del Po, tra i ponti monumentali Umberto I e Isabella, e in affaccio sulla collina.
